More About Martin

Each of us can be viewed as an open, complex, and integrated system that has various layers: physical, energetic, mental/emotional, intuitive, and spiritual. Therefore, each patient is unique and requires individualized biological and emotional support.  I use a combination of Biological Medicine, Integrative and Functional Medicine to provide compassionate care to those who are suffering from chronic illness and/or to help others reach their fullest potential.  I have had the great good fortune of learning from many great Integrative/Functional and Holistic doctors around the country and around the world. • 15 years experience in Functional and Integrative Medicine, with expertise in Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), Chronic Fatigue, Gut Disorders, Nutritional IV Therapy, and Neurological Illness

In-patient Hospitalist experience: 2 years experience in Surgical Intensive Care (SICU), with a special focus on Sepsis Care and Liver Transplant, 6 years experience in NeuroIntensive Care (NICU), with a special focus on Stroke, Brain Aneurysm, and Neurological disorders (MS, ALS, Guillian Barre, etc.)

• Full Prescriptive Authority. Ability to order and imaging (Ultrasound, CT, MRI, etc.). Work closely with Integrative/Functional MD using a team-based approach.

• 20 years of training in meditative practice, special knowledge, and training in mind-body medicine with a special focus in Tibetan Medicine.

It is an honor to be certified in Mitochondrial Wellness with Dr. Kucera, MD,  a genius of his time, who, in the process of assisting the Russian Cosmonauts to adapt to the stresses of space travel,  devised a novel way to not only support the mitochondria, the powerhouses of all our cells but to measure this process using an advanced Heart Rate Variability Testing.
