Medicinal Practices

At Tree of Light Health we hybrid many varieties of medicinal practices in order to treat the Whole Person. These practices include family, functional, holistic & integrative, as well as mitochondrial and antiaging medicine.

As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with 15+ years of direct patient care experience, I offer comprehensive Family Medicine. I prioritize an ongoing patient-physician relationship, emphasizing integrative care. Beyond diagnosing and treating chronic conditions, I provide preventive care, including checkups, health-risk assessments, and personalized lifestyle counseling. I also collaborate with various specialists, such as Neurologists, Endocrinologists, and Cardiologists, to manage chronic illnesses like heart disease, stroke, hypertension, diabetes, and asthma.

Functional Medicine aims to uncover and tackle disease root causes, treating the body as a unified system rather than a set of separate organs tied to medical specialties. This patient-centered approach shifts focus from isolated symptoms to the overall person. Functional medicine practitioners invest time in understanding patient histories and examining how genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors interact to impact long-term health and complex chronic diseases. This approach fosters individualized health and vitality expressions.
